Children of FRANCIS & ELLEN RAFFERTY Eskerboy, Parish of Termonmagurk, Northern Ireland Apparently ELLEN'S maiden name was RAFFERTY also, this making it even more difficult because we have no names to go on in her line. My G/grandfather PETER b. 1834 Arrived Australia 1855 & remained here till his death His siblings were: PATRICK- 17 May 1836 lived in Clogher, with his family EDWARD- 10 Sept. 1838 FRANCIS- 16 April 1841 Moved to Great falls Montana US Died montana CATHERINE-26 Feb. 1843 Lived in Clogher married McKenna Died whilst visiting in Montana JAMES 15 June 1845 Moved to Montana & died there TERENCE 3 Aug. 1847 Michael 12 Nov. 1854 CHARLES- 1855 married McGurk Moved to montana in 1923 after the death of his wife & died there Anybody that sees anything familiar, I would love to hear from. PATRICK Age 60 Also in 1901 census PATRICKS SISTER, living in the above mentioned location. Hi Teresa, In my genealogy research I came across your name in looking for the Rafferty family. I may be able to help a little. I got most of this information from a genealogist in Ireland. My husband, Gerald Rafferty, and I live in New Jersey, USA. His father, Arthur, was born in Eskerboy, Parish of Termonaguirk, County Tyrone, Ireland on July 12, 1889. His siblings: Peter (1886), Francis (1888), Patrick (1881) John (1881) Mary (1892) Charles (1898) Michal (1901). Arthur came to the U.S. in 1924. Arthur's father: Charles Rafferty (1855) who married Annie McGurk (1861) whose father was Arthur McGurk. Both Charles and Arthur were farmers. Charles’ father: Francis Rafferty (1802) Any of these names sound familiar? Arthur's siblings are the same as Mary's. Please contact me so we can compare notes. I hope this is the same family.
