Hi I'm looking for any information on the Sands or McLean families from Tyrone. My great great grandfather, Robert Sands comes from Kinsalle, Ballyclog and his wife Rachel McLean comes from Stewartstown, Donaghenry, Tyrone. They left Ireland and came to Australia in 1876 aged 21 years. I would be grateful if someone could let me know if there is a Family History Centre for this area or a Record Office or perhaps just point me in the right direction to obtain parish records or land records. I live in Queensland, Australia and I am not sure how to get any further with my family tree. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Carol IP: Logged |
