Some of you may be aware of this already, but the Ordnance Survey Ireland maps are finally available to browse online and it was well worth the wait. The whole country is covered and you can change from the old 6-inch maps to a modern aerial photo at the press of a button. It's possible to zoom right in to the 25in. maps to individual house level and the quality is excellent. The only problem is you can't download unless you pay. http://ims0.osiemaps.ie/website/publicviewer/main.aspx#V1,600000,750000,0

Many happy hours of browsing ahead.

I'm not so sure about that, Tom. I think this is a site that I tried to access some time ago, and it wasn't really suited to my 38 kbps (on a good day) dialup connection. So far as printing the images are concerned, there's always the ol' "Print Screen" technique. Then you can physically paste the various images together. I've done that from the various county library sites' early six-inch OS maps. Tedious, but doable.
